    Virigen Description

    Virigen is the trade name for the synthetic steroid released by Schering Plough. Virigen is intended for oral administration and is produced as 40 mg capsule.

    Each capsule contains 40 mg of Testosterone Undecanoate in dissolved form. A single Virigen capsule is a soft oval gelatin capsule, red in color, with a oily fill. Virigen is commercialized in high grade plastic medicine bottles, specially designed to protect the contents from temperature changes or damages during shipment. Each bottle contains 30 capsules. Virigen Testocaps is a novel formulation that allows storage at room temperature for three years.

    This product comes under the names Andriol, Androxon, Undestor, Restandol and Restinsol in Europe and South America. This agent is a revolutionary oral steroid. Virigen is a unique steroid Virigen is indicated for treatment of testosterone deficiency, including hypogonadism, andropause and related conditions such as delayed puberty in boys. Virigen is actually contained in a natural ester base, one, which is very easy on the body. This product's advantageous properties are similar to other testosterones in that it promotes rapid strength and weight gains. It, like other testosterones, promotes the storage of glycogen as well as ATP. The capsules, therefore, are effective for only a few hours so that 6-7 capsules, that is 240-280 mg (minimum), must be taken daily to achieve good results comparable to those of injectable compounds. This, however, puts the athlete in a dosage range which begins to influence the hormone production and the compound now more readily converts into estrogen. Such a dose can also manifest itself in a higher retention of sodium and water. This is one factor which competing athletes must consider.

    Aromatization is also minimal with this agent. All in all, Virigen Testocaps seems to yield gains similar to other testosterone esters, while being safer to administer. This drug has a wide following in parts of Europe where it is available.

    Virigen Dosage

    Virigen Testocaps 40 mg dosage will be different for different patients. Also, the number of doses you take each day, the time allowed between doses, and the length of time you take the medicine depend on the medical problem for which you are taking the anabolic steroid.
