    Anavar Description

    Anavar is the trade name for the synthetic steroid released by Generics Pharm. Anavar is intended for oral administration and is produced as 10 mg tab. Each tablet of Anavar contains 10 mg of Oxandrolone hormone, and can be used both in men and women. Anavar is avalaible on sale in a blister with 30 tablets.

    Oxandrolone is everyone's favorite oral cutting anabolic steroid. It produces clean, high quality gains in strength, and a very distinct hardening effect on the physique of the user. Anavar is not very toxic, not very androgenic, mildly anabolic, and pretty mild on the body's HPTA (Hypothalamic-Testicular-Pituitary-Axis). Unlike most oral steroids, which are Class II steroids giving most of their anabolic effect by means other than the androgen receptor, it seems that Anavar probably does have good binding to the androgen receptors, and is therefore a Class I steroid. Anavar also has a reputation for being a "fat-burning" steroid, which the medical literature indeed supports.

    Anavar Side Effects

    Anavar does not aromatize to estrogen and does not convert to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Estrogen and DHT are probably the most discussed hormones (only next to testosterone) when it comes to chemical enhancement. Estrogen-related side effects include gynecomastia and water retention. Dihydrotestosterone, on the other hand, is the culprit for several androgenic side effects of steroid use like accelerated hair loss and acne breakout.

    Anavar can give gastrointestinal problems ranging from a sensation of stomach fullness to appetite suppression, nausea, and diarrhea. The symptoms can be reduced by taking the tablets one-two hours after the meals. Is mentioned that Anavar also has negative effects on blood lipids.

    Women should not take more than 15 mg. daily otherwise, androgenic-caused side effects such as acne, deep voice, clitorial hypertrophy or increased growth of body hair can occur.

    If you are highly sensitive to Anavar side effects, you must use this drug with certain medications close at hand. Users who are prone to acne breakout anti-acne medications are necessary. Roaccutane (Isotretinoin) is the commonly prescribed drug for this condition.

    Other Anavar side effects include elevated blood pressure and high cholesterol profiles. You must keep in mind that these side effects are not unique to Anavar as these adverse reactions are also observed with other steroids. Thus, if you have pre-existing or familial disposition towards cardiovascular disorders you are cautioned against taking steroids.

    Minor side effects associated with Anavar use include sleep disorders, nausea, changes in skin color and changes in sexual drive.

    Anavar Dosage

    You must remember that most of the steroid side effects are dose-dependent, which means you can easily avoid them by practicing prudent dosing. The recommended Anavar dosage for males is 20-100 mg per day. For females, it is 10-20 mg per day. You can avoid most of Anavar side effects if you follow this drug's dosage recommendation.

    Anavar should be taken two to three times daily after meals thus assuring an optimal absorption of the Oxandrolone. Common dosage is 2-4 tablets in men and 1-2 tablets in women. The rule of thumb to take 0.125 mg./pound of body weight daily has proven successful in clinical tests.

    Anavar Cycles

    Anavar steroid is used in many cycles where the athlete can aford it. It is popular in stacks with drugs such as Testosterone as well as with high anabolic/moderate androgenic steroids such as Equipoise (GP Bold 200) or Nandrolone (GP Deca 250). When in a pre-contest period, bodybuilders often use Anavar together with Masteron (GP Mast 100) or Trenbolone (GP Tren Acetate 100), and Testosterone Propionate (GP Test Prop 100) as well as injectable Stanozolol (GP Stan 50). Women often achieve great results from 5-10 mg/ml day of oxandrolone alone.

    IGF-1 (Insulin Like Growth Factor 1) and HGH (Human Growth Hormone) will not be suppressed with a low dose of Anavar, but will actually be raised significantly as you may have guessed, and you will experience a "rebound" effect when you stop using Anavar. If your endocrine system and HPTA are functioning normally, you should be able to use Anavar with minimal insult to it, and can even keep most of your values within the normal range.

    Thus, Anavar may even be ideal for use in bridges between cycles, (at very low doses under 10 mg/ml), or for cutting/strength cycles at 50-100 mg/ml.
